When she was awarded the title and kissing the crown, she defeated all her rivals. In the wake of her win she was able to compete in the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. The 22nd of June, 1985 she also won the competition. In September of 1985 Mohr took part as Georgia in Georgia's participation in Miss America 1986 Pageant held in Atlantic City (New Jersey) after her victory. However, she was not one of the Top-10 finalists to win the title of Miss America national.
